Seeks to rescind notification prescribing additional duty of customs on imports of transformer oil equivalent to such portion of the excise duty leviable on the raw material commonly known as transformer oil base stock or transformer oil feedstock.

G.S.R…….(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), as specified in column (2) of the Table below, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide corresponding numbers G.S.R. as specified in column (3) of the said Table, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission, namely:-
